Such a delightful couple who own this adorable place! We were passing through and HAD to have some ice cream after some spicy food. They make their own waffle cones and so many ice cream flavors! We highly recommend Papaw’s!

This place is sooo cute. An old married couple runs it. It's just like walking into a old timey ice cream shop. Good variety of flavors and choices on cones. It's not homemade but it is a very decent tasting ice cream. Decent prices. Got to sit on an antique couch this time. Very good side stop on your way up or down the highway

It's sincerely the best ice cream I've had anywhere in Missouri. The made in house waffle cones and cookies are amazing and we liked how some of the flavors aren't overly sweet.

We heard about this place at a recent event at the Ozark Empire Fair Grounds. Our work team decided to have an ice cream social and we are glad we went. They have a quaint renovation of an older Strafford building to make it feel like an old ice cream shoppe. They have samples so that you can explore their variety of flavors. I tried their ice cream pie, which was a pue crust made to fit their bowls and your choice of ice cream, topped with whipped cream, and if needed, cherry or strawberry syrup. The coconut castaway was really good in the pie crust! We took home Rich and Famous. Thanks for a great experience!
